About Tanda
Tanda Tashjian has been interested in the planets since she was five-years-old, when she used a telescope given to her by her grandfather to look up into the night sky from atop of her parents' home in Warwick, Rhode Island. She soon found her mother's astrology books and avidly read them so she could debate astrology. Instead she embarked on a personal study of astrology that continues to this day.
Tanda has studied astrology for forty years with various astrologers and spiritual teachers including Liz Kelly, Harry Smith and Leong Tan. She has been a professional astrologer for thirty two years, and has a separate practice as a psychotherapist. Her orientation is one of a psychological astrologer.
She also writes a quarterly astrology newsletter, teaches and trains astrologers and teaches meditation classes.
Tanda lives in Los Angeles.
